OUR TEAM

At the DRC Heritage Pavilion, people are at the heart of everything we do. Guided by a diverse Board of Directors, cultural experts, tourism professionals, and community leaders, our team blends cultural authenticity with professional excellence. Together, we work to preserve Congolese heritage, foster intercultural understanding, and create sustainable opportunities for cultural practitioners in the U.S. and internationally.

Dr. Joel provides the strategic vision behind the DRC Heritage Pavilion. With extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, higher education, and entrepreneurship, he is deeply committed to preserving Congolese culture while building platforms for intercultural exchange. Fluent in five languages, Dr. Bayubasire leverages his expertise to design initiatives that combine authenticity with professional excellence, empowering cultural practitioners and strengthening community ties in the U.S. and internationally.
